The eBay Underpricing Report: June 2026

This is the first monthly report from Good Llama's alert telemetry — real numbers from our production engine, published as-is. Method and caveats at the bottom.

June 2026 by the numbers

Put differently: about one in nine alerted listings was meaningfully underpriced against its own recent sold history, and a watcher covering these 27 searches saw a genuinely mispriced listing most days of the month in June.

Most "deal report" posts stop there — three cherry-picked wins and a signup button. That's not a report. So below is the entire verified set, sorted by discount.

The receipts: all 50 listings

Every verified comp-backed underpriced alert from June. Ask is the listing price at alert time; comps median is the median of that item's recent eBay sold comparables.

Scroll for all 50. A few books appear more than once: re-listings are counted each time they surfaced. Listing links go through our eBay affiliate redirect — if you buy through one, eBay pays us a small commission at no cost to you. About half of June's catches have since sold or ended; deals don't wait.

The five biggest real gaps

• Avengers #4 PR 0.5 1964 1st Silver Age app. Captain America and Bucky — listed $590 vs $1,438 comps (9 comps), a $848 gap — June 7
• Giant-Size X-Men #1 (Marvel Comics May 1975) — listed $633.08 vs $1,436.59 comps (182 comps), a $804 gap — June 30
• Avengers #4 Key 1st Silver Age App Captain America Steve Rogers 1964 — listed $715 vs $1,438 comps (9 comps), a $723 gap — June 11 (this one surfaced twice in June — relisted)
• Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 7.5 1st Wolverine Key Bronze Age 1974 — listed $3,000 vs $3,705 comps (10 comps), a $705 gap — June 7
• Avengers #4 GD+ 2.5 1964 1st Silver Age app. Captain America and Bucky — listed $765 vs $1,438 comps (9 comps), a $673 gap — June 8

(July has already opened bigger: an X-Men #1 (1963) listed at $6,000 against $11,131 comps. That one headlines next month's report.)

When mispricings appear

Nothing between midnight and 6am ET — and then over half of the month's mispricings (28 of 50) landed between noon and 6pm ET, with evenings adding most of the rest. By weekday: Mon 9, Tue 6, Wed 8, Thu 6, Fri 7, Sat 4, Sun 10. The pattern fits casual sellers listing from work or after lunch, pricing from memory rather than comps. If you refresh eBay manually in the evening, most of June's deals appeared while you were doing something else — they surfaced on 22 of 30 days, but never on a schedule.

What June's data doesn't cover

This month is comics-weighted because that's what the watched set was: 27 searches, mostly bronze/silver-age keys. Pokémon want-lists (Charizard ex 199/165, Umbreon VMAX Alt Art, Base Set Charizard and five more chase cards) went live June 30 with photo verification on — so July's report is the first with verified Pokémon numbers alongside comics. Treat everything here as a floor, not a market census: these are only the mispricings we happened to be watching for.

Method & honest caveats

• "Underpriced" = asking price ≥15% below the median of recent sold comparables (minimum 5, typically 9–10 per item), computed at alert time.
• Comps match on title/issue. Grade matching is approximate for slabbed items, and restoration/qualified labels are not price-adjusted — a strong reason we show you the comps instead of auto-buying.
• Re-listings count each time they surfaced, so a few books appear in the table twice.
• Listing links are eBay Partner Network affiliate links (rel=sponsored). Commissions are how a free public report pays for itself.
• Every row is hand-reviewed before publication; raw alerts whose comps didn't hold up to review are excluded from all numbers on this page.
